With over 12 million people looking for a job and unable to find one taking unemployment benefits from from the ones that receive them or increasing the motivation to look for work for the 8 million more discouraged workers to will not improve the economy either, it will just drive down wages. We have a labor surplus and have had one since women joined the labor force in large numbers, and policy that improve the economy when there is a labor shortage will not work.

Because liberals know those who are rewarded for not working will vote for them. But when (not if) we fall over the fiscal cliff and the government doesn't have the money to pay the rewards, there will be hell to pay. If the politicians in Washington think they're going to cut my Social Security retirement benefits, which I worked for and substantially paid for, and continue to pay welfare benefits to people who have never contributed anything, they are NUTS.
Want riots and revolution? Just try this crap, libs.

Your right, why should they work for nothing. I thought they ended slavery 150 years ago. The middle class has seen no significant pay increases to inflation for the last thirty years. Fifty percent or more, of the people who work at walmart are getting food stamps, and medicaid. You are paying walmart employees the benefits that walmart isn't paying.

Punishing people who worked hard their entire lives but lost their job because some greed head sent their jobs overseas just to line their pocket sure didn't help the economy either.

It burns me up when i see a able bodied person living off the sweat of another working soul.
But they are just ruining their lives and kids lives and birth control is one of the only answers.
Would you have 7 or 8 or 9 kids?
Of course not but two or three when you don't or can't support and educate them is just as bad.

My mother told me today that she is thinking of retiring. The reason is actually taxes are too high and thanks to Obama, will get even higher.. It might not be all bad economically since if my mother did retire it would open up several jobs. In one factory they had to hire three to replace my mother a while back.

Paying taxes is not a punishment, everyone pays taxes one way or another! You know, Hitler saw the elderly, the disabled and the poor as a drain on society too!

You need to ask Obama this. As long as it is not his money he will sink us deeper and deeper into debt and the media will not say a word about it!

That's what they voted for - now they're whining that the punishment isn't cruel enough for the successful.
