Is it possible for China to start a war against Japan?

    No, because China wants to make people believe Japan wants to invade China for territorial aggression. Even if China wants possession of the Senkaku Islands, they want Japan to provoke the first attack on China so they are justified. Japan will never commit first attack, so China's plan will never happen, and there will be no war.

    Both have some claim to it. It is possible to start a war but it would be very unwise.
