Need someone who knows Russia and military. Got a Geography question... A river that is supposed to?
have a number of bases (at least 1) along it, and at least empties into the ocean. I remember reading about it years ago, but dont rememeber the name of it or where in Russia. I kept getting the feeling it was Central russia but doubt it.
I believe it has naval base and ship yards for building.
Only river i know of that MIGHT be close is one that my parents went on a cruise on from Moscow i think all the way to St. Petersburgh

tOne of the Most important port militarily is Vladivostoc. It's the hardest to put a blockade in. It's on the AMur river. The other ports like St Petersburg can be easily blockaded on the baltic sea and their ports on the black sea like Odessa which is no longer part of Russia can be blockaded at Hellespont or other parts near turkey. There are plenty of bases on teh amur riveer since it's the border that divides russia and CHina.
