Your puppy misses his mommy. Puppy wants to cuddle with you in bed. Now is the time to start training your puppy to not pee in your bed or floor. Get a blue pad at the Pets Mart for toilet training. Train your dog to pee and poop on the pad only. After a few months, he will know to pee and poop only on the pad, and not your bed or floor. Then, slowly train the dog to start peeing and poop outside. That means, every 3-4 hours, take him outside to pee. After he eats, 30-40 minutes later take him out to poop. Puppies have a smaller bladder so they can't hold their pee very long. You need to stick to a schedule and watch and learn your dog's toilet time. Over time, the dog will learn to hold his pee and poop until you take him out, unless there's a pad on the floor for it to do its business. Patience... A LOT of patience. Your dog will have accidents, but don't yell at him. he's still a baby and will learn. It usually take up to a year to get a dog potty trained. Treats are good to give when he does his potty train right. Once you and your dog have a bound, it's hard to break. Only you will understand him and only he will know how you feel. It will do anything to please you <3

Congrats on becoming a dog owner and welcome to the club! You may need to read the article below and purchase supplies to ease the process.

    Why he may be spraying?

    1. Marking his territory.

    2. He may have developed a kidney and bladder infection. (treated easily with 7 day oral antibiotics)

    3. Lazy bladder ( Our 3 year old spoiled pouch won't go outside if he's snuggled in and asleep)

    Solutions

    1. Purchase dog diapers from Petco and Petsmart ( We purchased teal diaper, it looks like a greek toga, and we replace the pad when it's wet. You can also buy disposable dog dipers.)

2.) Potty Patch ( As seen on TV ; it's a 3 peice kit with artical turf, padded liner and the base. Mixed online reviews. We never had success with the item and ended up donating it to Goodwill.)
