It does not make you warmer. vodka and other alcohol all have this effect to where your veins constrict closer to your body. It is not healthy for you veins to do so. and your body will get a little bit warmer, just by a tinsy bit, becouse it is fighting off the toxins, just like when you have a fever. but it is not much and that is not noticeable. also your mind, and nerves become number so if you are in the cold you feel warmer becouse you can't feel the cold as much. that is all.

It increases blood flow to your skin making your skin feel warmer, however, that doesn't increase your body temp. It actually causes your body to lose heat more quickly, but your body is very good at regulating it's own temperature so unless you're exposed to low temps without adequate clothing you'll stay at a constant temp.
