Super cute guy may possibly like me?

K so in the fall ijoined the cross country team. I was new to the school, so i was kind of quiet in the fall and nervous, and in need of friends lol. So there was this guy on the team and i thought he was really cute but he never taled to me or looked at me so i kind of just liked him from afar (in fact he barely talked at all...i didnt even know whathe sounded like). Anyways so skip to now in the winter (im in winter track lol). The cute guy (john) isnt in it. One day me and my friend were just talking about him ( i was kind of over him at that point) and she convinced me to add him on facebook. So i did and i chatted him...and he acted TOTALLY different! We had an awesome conversation about random stuff and during it he was like "why didnt u say hi in cross country, u never talked" and i was all like "because i thought u thought i was annoying" and he goes 'how could i think u were annoying when u barely talked". so anyways we had a couple of more awesome conversations throughout the week and just yesterday i finally said hi to him in the hals. and he was like "u finally said hi" and i was like "u finally said hi back" and he was smiling at me (he barely smiles) and it was SO ADORABLE O_O and then i saw him again later in the day and he was smiling at me then too and i was smiling back and i didnt know what to do so i just puffed out my cheeks (yes i know im wierd like that...) and he puffed out his cheeks too and i was DYING.

so ya..hes really cute and alot of girls like him but hes like quiet at the same time so i figured he was just a 'shy" guy or something BUT do u guys think i may have a chance?! O_O
