he should be ashamed even to be credited for the role.

OMG... I hate to think what your opinion of good acting is.
Kevin Spacey is an incredible actor and American Beauty is a great movie.
He is an amazing character actor.:

I didn't like the movie American Beauty either, as Monty Clift said it was pointless. But I wouldn't say Kevin Spacey is a bad actor. I mean he hasn't done a lot of movies that interest me and those that does hasn't been Oscar worthy. At leas he's no Kristen Stewart.
John C. Reilly and Will Ferrell are among the two worst actors in anything ever. I'm shocked when people tell me they like any of them. I can't even watch movies that feature them even if it might look good. They are just terrible, 10x worse than Stewart. And Step Brothers was the worst piece of s*** I've ever seen.

I hate American Beauty. pure senseless, moronic, and it has no freakin story. I almost felt like I was watching a Quentin Tarantino movie. Kevin Spacey did not deserve an Academy.
