Here's a cool debut theme that's sure to be a HIT! (Well, I hope so, LOL.)

NYC-themed Debut: I'm sure New York is a pretty cool place to live in, with all the glitz and glam. Let's begin! ^_^

INVITATIONS:

-I know a few websites that make personalized ticket invites. Check them out on the sources area.

-Feeling creative? Design your own invitation in the shape of an apple (remember New York is The Big Apple) or a skyscraper. Use bright red paper for the apple and shiny silver for the building. Write the party information on the back in black or in silver pen.

DECORATIONS:

-Decorative gas lamps along the front walk would look elegant.

-Place white twinkle lights on bushes and trees.

-Mix bunches of silver and gold balloons on either side of the door. Clear balloons filled with metallic shred or confetti create a really unique look.

-Hang up NYC Road Signs on the walls.

-Place cutouts of the Empire State Building or Times Square all around the venue.

-Cover some of the lights with red or blue gels to add ambiance.

-For music, songs of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. are a must.

MENU:

-I have a tabletop idea--black plastic tableware matched with black, silver or gold napkins are the perfect utensils. Sprinkle skyline confetti on the table to add a shimmer & sparkle.

SERVE THESE:

-Egg rolls and chow mein from Chinatown

-Hot dogs from Nathan's Famous

-Pizza

-Cheesecake from Lindy's

-Hot pretzels and roasted chestnuts

-Dr. Brown's

-Apple juice or anything with apples

FAVORS:

-I <3 NY Stuff would be great favors!

-Chocolate-covered pretzels in a cellophane bag. You can make or buy cute NYC tags to attach to them!
