Since Pro Gunners want more guns as a solution how about if we?

I don't want more guns. I just don't want people to take away guns. If an elderly man lives alone by himself and a person tries to rob him, if he has a gun and knows how to use it properly, then he can use it to shoot the robber to protect himself since they most likely cannot fistfight the robber. Likewise, if a woman was walking alone, at night and someone tries to rape her, if she has a gun handy in her purse, she can defend herself.

The real solution is for some gun owners to be more responsible about owning guns. If they were more responsible and stopped acting like complete ******* all the time, then so many people would not be so against them and would stop using firearms as a scapegoat when violent events happen.

Let us deal with this with some logic, shall we?

What other reason might there be, to want the American People Disarmed?

Is it really because the Government,..those in Power,..care so much about you,..or your Children?

Then what about all the things which are killing our Children much much more often than maniacs,...MAD People,....with guns?

And in any case,..banning Guns won't stop mad People,..CRAZY People from murdering Children.

Ask yourself this. Even if you had a house full of guns and ammunition, would you then murder a close relative, shoot your way into a nearby primary school and massacre as many children as you could?

You would have to be mad to do such a thing, and mad in a rather special way.

And if you were mad in that way, and had no gun, you might use other weapons. There are recent instances in various parts of the world of what appear to be attempted mass murder by car, or by knife.

Take what happened just over a week ago in Chenpeng village school, Henan province, in China. Min Yongjun stabbed an elderly woman before hurting 22 children (many very badly) with a kitchen knife.

So shall we ban kitchen knives? Or cars? Actually, most mass attacks in China – which like almost all despotism's has very tight gun laws – are done with either knives or explosives. The important thing is that these attacks still happen even with gun laws.

And THAT,..is my point.

What I am asking you to do here is to think. Don’t be herded into the standard liberal opinion, that the Sandy Hook School tragedy is the fault of America’s allegedly crazy gun laws.

Actually, Connecticut’s gun laws are a good deal tighter than Britain’s were before 1920. British gun law before then was so relaxed it made Texas look effeminate. Did the streets of Edwardian London echo to gunfire? Were school massacres common? No.

Were guns restricted here because of crime? No, they were restricted because the panicky British government thought there might be a revolution.

And that, is a FACT.

In Switzerland, to this day, most homes contain powerful military weapons and ammunition. But gun crime is extremely rare there (unless you count suicide). Yet these massacres are a feature of modern life. They happen in countries such as Britain and Germany that already have severe gun laws.

So,...is it absolutely not possible there is another,..valid,...reason for people in power wishing to disarm the American People?

False premise! That is not the same logic. Someone who has crack can't prevent another from using crack by using crack. Someone with a gun can prevent another from using a gun (such as committing a mass shooting) by using a gun.

none of my acquaintances are anti weapons yet my argument is that if lots of those diverse weapons and areas are banned they gained't be created from now on which equals lost jobs gun shops then won't have the means to sell the areas lost jobs and sales and on line keep's like extra lower priced than airborne dirt and airborne dirt and mud won't have the means to sell it extra lost jobs and money and delivery agencies could have much less to deliver which might advise extra lost money that could desire to effect in extra lost jobs,the gun industrie is racking in countless money that's stable for the economic gadget reducing a bunch of stuff could create a large ripple impact,and it rather is no longer the regulation abiding sane electorate that are the people that don't choose weapons it rather is the idiots that screw it up for everybody else

How about we just take away the 13th, 19th and 26th amendments.
