Is this anxiety/panic attacks?

I know I probably shouldn't be coming to the Internet for answers but whatever. every month or so lately I've been getting these attacks (they last several days usually) where I'm very tired and nervous and nauseous and just feeling out of sorts. what makes things worse is that I think I am also a bit a hypochondriac - I hear about a disorder or disease and become convinced that I have symptoms - but when im not constantly thinking about it, i feel fine. would this be considered anxiety?

    No.

If they last days then its not anxiety or panic attacks.

Panic attacks last a few hours max and never cause tiredness, quite the opposite really.

A panic attack is like a sudden onset of extreme fear.

I go from fine to full panic attack in under a minute

    I cant breathe

    My vision is blurry

    My heart goes mental

    Im pale

Nauseous (actually thrown up a few times)

    Sweaty hands

    Shaking

    etc

Feeling out of sorts and tired doesnt cut it.

I wouldnt call it anxiety as its not typical anxiety.

Its stress you are causing by quite likely being a hypochondriac, but the actual kind of hypochondriac, not the ones who think they are dying when they get a cold.

You convince your mind that you are seriously ill, so your body starts to behave like its ill.

Hey, I've have the same problem for many years. and I've gone to great lengths to try to "cure" it. There honestly isn't a cure. But you can control it so it doesn't control your life. I highly recommend that you don't resort to medication! Although they can be effective for a time, the chemicals can make it much worse. You really don't get results into a few months into taking it, and stopping suddenly can cause a withdraw. When you have an anxiety/panic attack, sit or lay down close your eyes and breathe through your nose and try your best to clear your mind. Listen to music or think of something pleasant. Exercise is a great way to relieve stress, as well as a hobby to take your mind off things. Since I've been doing these things I haven't had a panic attack in months. Even though its hard to live with, you will find a way around it!

That could be an anxiety disorder. There are many people that suffer from anxiety related to health and disease.

Anxiety attacks can cause bodily symptoms, such as nausea. You could be going through an anxiety attack. If you are allowing the anxiety attack to peak to a 10(scale of 1-10), when you get to the end of that attack it will leave you feeling exhausted, sometimes disoriented.

You may want to speak to a psychiatrist or psychologist. The longer you wait to treat symptom, the harder it can be to get back to normal. If you don't want to talk to a doctor right away, you may want to check out a program called attacking anxiety and depression https://store.midwestcenter.com/mwc/

Those symptoms are distressing, and you'll wanna get them checked by a mental health professional. They can diagnose you and get you on a treatment plan.
