Why do some people believe businesses to be the root of all evil?

What do government-run establishments like the post office or the D.M.V. have that makes their service to you such a better experience than that of a business run by the people?

Your government is able to take your money by force. (Until the people fight back.) Businesses at least have to persuade you first.
