How old do have to be to buy an m rated game?
I always see an different answer.
Is it 17 or is it 18.
I know it's stupid question but like I said I some how always find different answers.
Like some people saying some stores only sell it to you if your 18 then other say it's 17.
I want the an actually answer

17. I bought several M rated games when I was 17, and was also carded as well so it has to be 17.

17 my Cuz always buys games at GameStop and he is 17 sometimes that even sell them to little kids

Sounds like it is 17 in the US, But here in Australia it is 15, how lucky are we

I think that's a country thing you are seeing.
For example BO2:
In the US that has an M rating (as seen here: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?um=1&hl=en&sa=N&tbo... and the government says that M is for 17+.
But if you ask people in the EU where the PEGI or our general media rating systems is used, they will say 18 because US M rated games receive a 18+ rating in the EU (as seen here: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?um=1&hl=en&sa=N&tbo...
So both 17 and 18 are correct, but if you are in the US, 17 is relevant to you.

its 17 but im 20 now and even when i was 14 i bought m rated games without anyone giving me crap except when gta 4 came out and i look young to begin with nobody really cares.
