Cons: Do you think all fire fighters should have guns going to a fire?

I don't but most Cons do, Between them, the GOP, the NRA and the arms manufacturers they want everyone to have arms, either to use them as instruments of oppression, creating and responding to hysteria , financial gain , militarization of the country.

It has already begun, they are advocating guns for teachers, fire personnel, users of National Park , churches, courts, you name it and they've got it.

They are so crazy and self seeking that maybe they would tolerate mass murderers having guns, if they murdered the right people, like Strikers, undocumented immigrants, gays, personnel working in abortion clinics, for example.

The USA would become like the Wild West. It wouldn't be safe to walk in the streets

Now why is this a 'con' question when I have liberal brothers who are for and against gun ownership and a liberal, very liberal sister is all for guns? Do you really not think people on both sides are pretty much in agreement for both and against? Why make this an attack against the cons any more than the libs?

Hmm I'm a Conservative and a firefighter/Fire Inspector. I have zero problems with citizens being armed but then I use logic rather than emotion. If you don't want to own a gun then don't buy one, after that do us all a favor and just shut up.

Are you aware that there were sections of Detroit, Chicago, East St. Louis and Oakland where EMT and Fire responders refused to go without armed escort?

....now, please tell me what those cities have in common in regards to political ideology...

The police are paged at the same time we are ...... they have our back ... we have other issues to deal with!

If they felt like they needed them for whatever reason, it would not bother me.
