A piece of bread along with the cookies will help them from getting dried out, because bread is very moist. All you have to do is toss in a hamburger bun or regular slice of bread in with the cookies!

Just package them well, wrapped in plastic wrap and placed in Zip-Lok bags or airtight containers. Secure with bubble wrap or crumpled up newspapers, place in a box, and send them off.
