Actually, most girls don't like jerks per se. The majority of girls get attracted to guys who appear to be decent, nice human beings. Oftentimes, however, this turns out not to be the case; i.e. the hot, popular football star who turns out to be arrogant and self-centered. When this happens, most sane girls dump him on his sorry butt. Of course, there are the few girls who are just too insecure to do this, and keep dating him just for the sake of having a boyfriend. So I guess the roundabout answer to your first question is no, girls don't like jerks, but we often end up dating them by mistake.

Then there are the breed of us females that are magnetically attracted to bad boys. There is something undeniable sexy and exciting about a windswept, motorcycle-riding delinquent. However, what makes them all the more endearing is that although bad boys are tough on the outside, they are tender and sweet with you ("you" meaning us girls). So technically, although they piss off the world, bad boys aren't jerks to US and therefore we like them.

But again, this is just a rare breed of females. So if you are a nice, decent guy keep doing whatever you do because personally, there is nothing more attractive than a nice guy.

ok i am a girl so listen to what im going to tell you please cause one of the answer you have is so beond wrong. Girls like a guy who is nice, sweet, kind, and smart. The last thing a girl want is a jerk. Some like guys with money but its not the most important thing at all. if your nice kind and sweet but can still protect the girl and your smart you are piratically the perfect guy. But the few girl who do like jerks are the stupid ones that don't care and usually are dumber then a brick and not worth the time.

From what I've seen they think its funny and they want to be with a fun guy... the nicest, smartest girls will go for the nice, sweet guy who treats them well and makes them laugh without being an idiot.

I don't worry about money or looks... girls arent weak, we can earn money... looks fade with time..... A good heart and personality hopefully lasts forever
