Can I pick up my passport without identification?

Recently I ordered a new passport at the embassy in Israel. However, I lost my wallet which had all my identification in it (ex. Drivers license which you cant replace without another ID). Can I pick up my passport with just some copies of the photo I used toget a new passport?

    Nope - you will be questioned very very closely - this is suspicious.

    Your picture is in it, so that should help. Be ready to answer questions to establish your identity.
