Would any of you Anti-Gun proponents be willing to try a few firearms?
This question was inspired by Michael Bloomberg's mistaken impression (on-camera interview) about how semi-automatic weapons fire.
Hey, I understand your absolute opposition. I attribute it to inexperience. Would any of you be willing to visit your nearest gun store, with an indoor range (and a try before you buy policy)? You'd have to pay for the ammunition you'd fire.
Of course you'd have to insist on hearing and eye protection, as well as some instruction. The people behind the counter would probably do it anyway.
My hope would be not necessarily to change your minds but to give you a better perspective.
Sharon, Thank you for your service to your country and your contribution to this question. YOU definitely have a sound basis for your decision. How about anyone who has never discharged a weapon?

Jay Be, I intentionally didn't label liberal, right wing, etc. I am specifically targeting anti-gun proponents. Thanks for contributing! I'm still waiting to see if anyone has tried a firearm, I'll give it until almost until my time expires.. Thanks again, everyone, for reading and contributing!

As a Brit ex serviceman I used these & like 99.9% of my countrymen I am totally opposed to gun ownership-as a mature nation we dont live in fear of being shot ! Thanks for your balanced (for America audience ) question !

I have a Marksman medal earned wih an M-1 rifle (yeah, I'm that old). Bloomberg is right to oppose firearms in NYC, it ain't the O.K. Corral (and remember how many dead an injured that involved).

Well I am a liberal who has been shooting and hunting since i was 3 0r 4 years old. We just aren't dumb enough to want 30 rounds in a gun for no reason. We also aren't dumb enough to think that the government wants to "take away all of our guns".

If you are referring liberals as anti gun we aren't. We want stricter gun laws. Like how wanting stricter traffic laws doesn't make me anti car.
