How long can one go to jail for for fighting?

Lets say someone of age (18+) were to fight someone under age (17-) and they were to get arrested what would happen? How much time will they get in jail? Jail time or just fine?

    Probation normally only. And the 17 year old would get charged as a adult since 17 is adult in ":criminal law." The 18 would get the same charge or possibly charged for hitting a child since 17 is still a child by law.
