Im.on birth control but have pregnancy symptoms?
I did have unprotected sex about two weeks ago. I took a test today and it was
negative. Did I take it too early? What should I do? This would be my first pregnancy. I do not get my period on the BC so I cannot ho by when I am late.

Birth control causes a rise in estrogen, and you can get sore breasts, and feelings of pregnancy without actually being pregnant. I've been pregnant and on the pill, and both feel very similar in the early stages. It's really hard to tell.
How long have you been on the pill? If you had unprotected sex two weeks ago, without a condom, and you've been on the pill for months...you're considered protected from pregnancy...but not from STD's. So, be careful.
Since you don't have a period, then a two week time frame for testing sounds about right. I'd retest in the next few days, and if that's negative...you're probably okay. If you keep feeling these symptoms, go to your doctor. But, I wouldn't worry if you've been on the pill.
Now, if you just started the pill less than a month ago and had unprotected sex, you could be pregnant. It all depends on how long you've been on it. Merry Christmas!

It may be a little early to tell, pregnancy symptoms sometimes are the same as getting your period. You may want to wait another week or so and take another test.

Chances are you aren't pregnant, especially if you're taking birth control. It could be side effects from the pills.
