White hard spots on the bottom of my feet?
Five or so years ago, I had this spot on my foot. It looked kind of like a white circle edge (meaning it wasn't a filled circle). The doctor thought it was a plantar wart and he "removed" it by burning it and scraping it away. Well, it came back soon after, and it brought friends. Over the years, it got smaller, and tiny spots are about it now. They are very hard. They used to not hurt, but now they do. Just barely, and only the flesh hurts. Anybody know what they could be?

that DOES sounds like plantars warts. They come back, and are caused by a virus which can stay in your shoe for quite a while. I used to have problems with them a fair amount. It sounds like your doctor didn't get all of it, which is why it would spread out and come back with more... they have a sort of "root system" for lack of a better explanation. If this is the case, it will hurt when you step or press on it, and that will be about it. I'd go back to your doctor, and ask him if he thinks it could still be plantar warts, and tips on preventing re-occurrence and spread of the virus. For me, I put any of my shoes that i could through the washing machine including sneakers, hand washed what i couldn't with just a touch of bleach or non-chlorine bleach, changed my socks often when I had to wear them and wore flip-flops most often to let my skin breathe, put them on right out of the tub so i didn't step on the floor, and cleaned the shower with a bleach cleaner when i got out. I also washed those flip flops once a week or so. I kept this up for i think a month or two, after i had all my warts removed and i havn't had a problem since.
