My brand new pc keeps freezing, what is wrong with it?

I just got my new pc about 2 or 3 weeks ago as a christmas present along with far cry 3.

Here are the specs: Windows 7 pro 64-bit, Nvidia Geforce Gtx 560 ti 2gb, Core I5-3470 3.20 GHz, 8gb of ram, 2 tb hard drive and a 700 watt power supply.

Not sure what motherboard, but they gave me one that's good enough.

My pc is custom built at chaos computers. It cost about R10 000 or $1 200

I don't have any viruses or malware on my pc.

It's not even overheating.

What do you think is the problem?

Update:

1. I have a brand new hard drive

2. Only one beep when it turns on like a regular pc

3. I have all the latest drivers

Update 2:

I did step 1, and everything looked fine to me.

Do you here "beeps" on start up?

Do you receive any error codes?

    if so,then let us know

I doubt the problem is serious and probably will be fixed

you had better to start a step by step diagnosis and then let us know the result:

STEP 1:check all parts of your pc and press them all towards the slots and check the data cables and reboot your PC.

    I will be back.
