Merry christmas! i just got a PS vita for christmas and we have a ps 3. can I play with my family on my ps vita when they are on the ps3? in other words, can we play multiplayer using ps 3 and ps vita together?

You can on certain games.
At the moment the games that you can play with ps3 and vita on are:
Hustle Kings,
Playstation All Stars Battle Royale,
Motorstorm RC,
Wipeout HD(PS3) and Wipeout 2048(VITA)
Street Fighter X Tekken
There are others coming in the future.

No there is not any go play between the psvita and ps3 for call of duty black ops 2. the interest for the vita (COD Black Ops Declassified) is punctiliously diverse than the single made for the ps3, xbox 360, and wii u.
