No Christmas Football? Really?

Yes I remember sitting around my grand mothers TV every chrismas watching Football. No football on christmas is just wrong.

there have been only 17 christmas day dames since 1971. 2 are playoff games (1971) and there are 3 occasions where 2 games were played on christmas. its not a tradition considering they almost try to avoid it intentionally if it lands on a sunday. christmas day basketball is as much of a tradition as thanksgiving day football. you really dont know what youre talking about do you?

NFL plays on Christmas only when it falls on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Bears played at Packers on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011.
