1995 Chev. 3/4 ton p/u 350 eng.& auto trans?

change the heads on the eng , would that give me more h/p to pull a travel trailer? If not some suggestions that would help.now it pulls down to 15 miles per hr when going up a hill.

    Simply changing heads would do nothing. Try headers, turbo mufflers, and maybe a supercharger.

    If you have the money, drop in a 383" stroker motor.

    Remember to keep the trans out of O/D when towing, or you'll fry the trans (been there, done that)

    The stock heads will do just fine, instead change the intake, swap in a carb and vac.distributor (stock tbi system sucks) and put some headers on it. This will give you a surprising power gain for a low price.

    If that's not enough you should consider swapping in a 383 or something, you might not want to spend too much money on the stock engine.

    not likely, tranny and motor might desire to examine up and those fashions are 17 years aside, the production unit has forgotten what they did before so how might desire to those issues flow mutually...
