What type of computer to buy for Total War?
I'm looking to buy a new computer because my old one is junk. I am a gamer, not a hardcore one but i do enjoy Strategy games. I want to know of a good computer or what this computer would need to play games like Total War or any other Strategy games. including new games coming out like Rome 2 total war and Company of Heroes 2.

Strategy games don't usually need much in terms of juice, especially if you're not a hardcore pc gamer who absolutely has to run everything on max settings. So if you want a laptop - http://amzn.to/TYosxX. If you want to go with a desktop, you can get much better specs for less, like http://amzn.to/U9g0uk

It relies upon on your definition of "run." it would want to run it extremely on absolutely the bottom settings, yet i'd not purchase Shogun 2 till you get a clean laptop. Shogun 2 is amazingly annoying on the CPU and a Pentium 4 would not decrease it anymore. it is also GPU hungry and a 7600 GS is an previous card at this aspect. My answer is: no, your laptop has no probability of operating the game at any style of playable aspect. Notes: 1360 x 768 is a more advantageous decision than 1024x768, so that you're wonderful there. it really is the -minimum-decision the game helps not a required decision. evaluation: i might want to run Left 4 useless 2 on medium settings at 1280x1024 decision on a 7800 GS, it really is an stronger card and a more advantageous decision than those you're employing. Shogun 2 is a lot extra annoying than Left 4 useless 2.
