When will Soul Eater get a season 2?

Yes they need money. Animation is a very expensive business, and the decision on anime production lies heavily on the profit the producers believe they could get from it. TV ratings and fan opinions are not as important as sales on DVD and merchandise. If a show doesn't get a season 2, there are various reasons behind it. These are the most common reasons I could think of:

1. The anime did not do well in terms of DVD Sales or merchandise (figures, toys, collectibles, etc.) - I don't know if this is the case, but I do know that Soul Eater is not as popular as, say, Naruto or One Piece.

2. There's no material to work on - Not in the case of Soul Eater, because the manga is ongoing

3. The anime deviated from the original material - This. If you are familiar with the manga, you would notice that the last few episodes of the anime was changed - the story with the Kishin was given a conclusion. It's pretty different in the manga, as a new arc opens up once the Brew arc is finished. If they are to fix this, they will have to remake the series, or release episodes with different story straight to DVD (OVA's). But for this to happen, the anime should be extremely popular (ex. Full Metal Alchemist, Hunter X Hunter, Inuyasha to name a few).

Also note that the manga is getting darker and darker compared to the anime. I thought it had a chance of getting a season 2 when they did Repeat Show, but that was two years ago and no updates, so...

There won't be. All of the rumors said it was going to be released last summer, but nope.

Plus, in my opinion, Soul Eater ended just fine the way it did.

It could be cool seeing as how I sincerely adored it......That is except the teach wreckage that was the ending, other then that it could be cool to seem a second seasons. To inform you the truth, I underneath no instances decided to learn the manga however i'm real for the reason that it now. Also that made me consider pokemon as good.
