Dubs. And I always get chastised for it. Many say Subs are more original, contribute more to the story, and don't sound weird. BUT PERSONALLY (warning: this contains OPINIONS) I prefer dubs because I grew up watching dubs unintentionally and from then on I always found it too weird for my ears to watch anything in subs. The same goes for people who prefer subs!! Many Sub people tend to say that after getting used to subs they don't like watching dubbed because it sounds weird. It's just the other way around for me. Also, I also like to pay attention to the visual art of the anime more than the writing which is also an OPINION. In my opinion, an anime would be just as beautiful if I couldn't hear the words and if I'm constantly focusing on reading (which I am an avid reader and I really focus when I read) and it makes it hard for me to pay attention to both things going on because on one hand my brain is trying to focus on reading and imagining characters like I would a book and on the other hand my eyes are confused because I will constantly have to rewind because I was reading. And lastly, I'm sorry I like hearing the english language. When I have a headache I wan to be able to blink without missing a sentence.
All in all this is why I prefer dubbed versions. When I tell subbed people this, I always get a negative reaction but I really don't see how it affects them in anyway so why chastise me? They can tell me how much better the Subs are but it would be useless because it would be exactly like if I tried to convince a subbed person that dubs are better.
Both can be really good. Some are bad. But most of the time you can find a beautiful anime in either dubs or subs and it will still be enjoyable which is sort of the point.

I prefer subs over dub, because the voice actors for english dub anime sound weird and with no emotions ans barley fits the character at all.
And dubs usually take FOREVER to come out, while subs take a few hours to sub after the episode has been released.
For me sub is way better than dub, but there are animes that the dub isn't so bad..

Subs, for many reasons.
1. Dubs take a really long time to come out, and subs are available moments after it airs in Japan. Plus a lot of anime never even get dubbed.
2. English VA's voices annoy me. Maybe it's because I've watched subbed for so long, but I honestly can't stand dubbed. The only exception is, Dragonball Z, and the Fullmetal Alchemist dub was pretty good too.
3. Japanese voices always suit the character, while English voices rarely suit the character.

I prefer subbed as opposed to dubbed. The main reason why is because I prefer the original actors' voices instead of the usually unfitting, dumb ones that they use in dubbed episodes. Also, it's not like a ton of action happens when characters are talking. If all else fails, just pause the show/video, read what it says, and then focus on the actual anime.

Japanese Subs â¤
Because the Japanese voice is the original version of the anime and you will get to learn the language through animes too. If you love anime , love Japanese too ^^

JAPANESE SUBS!!!!! The voices changes the whole mood of the story for me, when they talk/speak/shout/scream or whatever(in English), it's like they not putting in any effort!!
Lol my other reason is that I watched anime in Japenese 1st b4 English!! So I've gotten used to watch anime other languages(prefferably Japanese)

Subs. Most of the time I can't stand the English voices, and I like listening to the Japanese so I can "practice" my Japanese listening/comprehension skills.

Subs because it uses the original script as written by the writers and the emotions are conveyed better with the images.

It depends on the the anime.
