Good guns/weapons for a zombie apocalypse? lol?

If you want good firearms for a zombie apocalypse, then I would recommend these:

1) Ruger 10 22

If you were specifically fighting zombies, then a 22lr would be an excellent choice. Ruger 10 22s cost around $200 and 22lr ammo costs around three to four cents a round. There are boxes of over 500 rounds of 22lr that you can get for around $20. Not to mention is that they make alot less noise than other guns, you can literally carry a thousand rounds at around five pounds, small, and economical.

1) Mosin Nagant 91 30

So say that you don't have alot of money and you need good firepower. Fortunetly mosins are good for those who want alot of bang for their buck. Originally, they were used by the Russian army to defeat the Nazis during WW2, mosins shoot 7.62x54r round, about as large as 30 06. Its a bolt action gun that is very sturdy and can take alot of abuse. Ammunition is cheap too. You can spam cans of military surplus ammo of over 440 rounds at around $60 to $80. But be advised, surplus ammo is corrisive, so you must clean your gun after shooting it. Non corrosive is about 50 cents a round. But the best part about them are the prices. The russians made over 17 million of these, known to be the most mass produced rifle in history. So you can typically find one for around $100.

3) 12 gauge shotgun

The best part about a shotgun is the versatility. You can shoot almost anything out a load from slugs, birdshots, buckshots, flechettes, dragons breath, combinations, and etc. Pump actions are simple and esy to maintain. You can typically find a box of 25 rounds for around five dollars. If you are on a budget, then a maverick 88 is good. You can find those for around $200. If you have some extra money to spend, then you can go for a mossberg 500 or a Remington 870, both of those shotguns are used by Law Enforncement agents.

4) SKS

The SKS replaced the mosin after WW2, due to firefights happening at closer ranges. An SKS shoots the 7.62x39 round, commonly used in AK 47s. But due to the SKS having a slightly longer barrel, they are slightly more accurate than an AK. Plus it has an internal magazine, which means that you won't have to spend money on a Magazines. Although it does a ten round internal mag, there are after parts that can make it have a twenty, thirty, or even seventy-five round magazine. They're also quite durable and can cost you around $300 to $500. Russians ones are considered to be the best, if not, then norincos are also good.

5) Handguns

Handguns are good for close ranges and for lighter carry. Glocks are good, as they are quite versatile. They can be pricy, but you can find a better deal for a used one. A used glock can be around $400 with a new one around $600. Beretta 92fs is also good. If you are looking for one more inexpensive, then 9x18 Makarov or CZ 82 are good.

6) AR 15. This one I would recommend if you have money to spend as an entry one can run around $600 to $700. Upper level ones can run around a thousand dollars. ARs are higly versatile guns that usually come in .223 caliber. But with after market barrels, you can pretty much shoot any type of caliber you want. You can try finding a parts kit and then have a gunsmith assemble it for you if you are trying to save some money.
