Why not ask an expert, your VET? Don't mess around with your dog's health, get the facts.
I don't know what kind of reaction your dog had to the other food but I do know that *some* people confuse flea bite allergies and pollen allergies for food allergies. I am not saying that you are doing that, only that it happens a lot. And, of course, switching the foods will never help a flea bite allergy or a pollen allergy.
Even if it is snowing outside, something is pollinating year round, including houseplants.
Cold weather kills the outdoor fleas but not the flea eggs that can lie dormant for up to two years in homes. Many dogs have fleas in the winter time.
If your dog has already been diagnosed with food allergies or sensitivities, your vet will be able to recommend something that will save you a lot of trial and error time with your dog's food.
