i have been trying to add songs to my ipod but i have been having trouble. i am able to the add songs to my ipod but they wont download to it how can i fix that???

Open up iTunes and plug your iPod in. On the top right corner, under the search bar, you will see a button that says iPod appear. http://i.imgur.com/C3uIB.jpg Click on it (not the arrow part). Now on the bottom right corner of your screen you will see the sync button. http://i.imgur.com/cqDaW.jpg Just click it and the sync will start.
There are a lot of iTunes alternatives that will allow you to copy music freely, without the need of a account. Such programs are SharePod (lightest and fastest) and iFunbox (a fully featured app and file manager). http://www.getsharepod.com/ http://www.i-funbox.com/
