Help with my new iPod?!?

I just got the new seventh generation nano for Christmas. I have the newest version of iTunes I put on the computer via CD. When i plug my ipod in it comes up with "restore on itunes" (I have a windows computer by the way) I click restore, and the download is 110mb! I unfortunately still have dial up...and the computers internet connection kicks off way before the download is complete. It says it will take 59 hours. I don't know what to do, any ideas? I have a smartphone but I don't know if I could download on there.

    The only way is to download on your PC

    What is it downloading? iTunes?

    if your just donwloading itunes you can do that through apples website for free thats what i did
