The other guy is an idiot. Lucasfilms didn't exist in 1977. On the leg it will say Kenner Hong Kong 1977. Though if it's loose, then it's easy to fake. You just make or find a DT saber and get a regular Vader and swap out the saber. The value difference between a loose DTS Vader and one on the card is about $1500.

On the back leg of the 1977 darth vader double telescoping action figure, what would one find to point to a real figure and not a fake?

The double telescoping figure will have a small Lucasfilms logo on bottom of the foot. If not, the action figure is a fake and was likely manufactured by those using the dark side of the force, therefore, besides being evil, it was likely made by younglings from Malaysia or the sweat shops on the Ice Planet Hoth.

Yoda and Darth Vader have sadly never had lightsaber duel. Although, ther is a book that I bought and the title is something like this: The amazing star wars duels that you have never seen. I'm not sure if that is the exact title but it is something like that. In the book they will show two carachters and 'experts' will decide who would win the duel if they ever had one. In that book, they have a page where they decide wether yoda or DarthVader would win a lightsaber duel together.
