How can a Y/A Question not show up?
I've never had this happen. I can see my question in "My Activity" but not in the Law & Ethics category of Politics & Government? Here's the question:
Thanks Ariana. I don't understand why you are able to see the question in this posting but it doesn't show up in the category. I would have thought that I'd get some sort of violation notice...
Thanks Bingalee. While I understand your criticism, I see many other more blatant than myself that don't get censored. Regardless, thanks for answering!

The links are the problem, but the problem is two-fold. To prevent spam, YA blocks questions that contain links from posting on the open questions page. In order to prevent this in the future, post the question WITHOUT the links, and then use the edit feature to put them in the additional details.
The second part of the problem is that you are posting a link to your own video in the question. This can be seen as solicitation, which is a violation. YouTube links are always dangerous, even if they are not to your own videos, since posting them can almost always be interpreted as solicitation. I recommend avoiding them at all times.

ADDED: I can see the question because you posted the link to it. You did not receive a violation notice because it was not reported and deleted or removed by staff. It may be, though, if you keep it up for too long. I would recommend deleting it.

YA filters detect certain words that prevent your Q getting onto the main page.In addition to what the first answer says it is also a rather insensitive post considering the recent mass murders at the hands of the Newtown gunman. We aren't here to 'push our own barrows' so to speak, and that's what your post comes across as.Qs must seek advice or knowledge beneficial to all members.
