It says that I have 42 pages views, but I have made two posts. It says one has 5 views and the other has 2 views. How can this be?? help! Thanks. And also why am i not seeing anybody elses blogs??

That means your Home Page has been viewed 42-5-2 = 35 times
Also it'll even count your own visits to your blog into page views. This means your own visits to your blog Home page will also count into that 35.
