I have just figured out how to view other peoples blogs, but how can you go through them without going randomly? How can you actually select a blog your interested in??

There's no central index of Blogger, it's not one of those site networks. One is expected to promote their blog like any self contained site.
The best way to sort through the 1.2 Billion or so pages that don't use custom domain names is a Google site search, the same as could be used on any site.
search site:blogspot.com "Apple martini" to find that phrase on any page
search site:blogspot.com intitle:"Apple martini" gives a better chance that it's that actual subject of the page.
(That randomly chosen subject gets 23,400 results)
