Hey! CEDAR/PINE BEDDING IS EXTREEMELY BAD FOR HAMSTERS!!! Cedar/pine bedding contains a lot of dust which enters the hamster's respitorary system causing many health problems. When I first got my Long-Haired Syrian Hamster, Scout, last month from PetSmart, I made the bad mistake of purchacing Pine Bedding. For the week that I had the Pine Bedding, Scout was sneezing the entire day and was very fatigued. I soon switched to CareFresh (Uncolored + Unscented) and Scout seems to like it and is no longer sneezing 24/7. Some of the bedding that you can switch to is Aspen Fresh, Aspen Shavings, Aspen Pelleted Bedding, Carefresh, Cell-Sorb Plus, Critter Country, and Woody Pet. I would sugguest getting an UNSCENTED (the scents can irritate your hamster's respitory system) and UNCOLORED (if your hammy happens to eat the bedding, the coloring can be damaging to their health) bedding.
