I want to know why or Government will not learn from past mistakes. This nation should not have unemployed?

Want let or dying nation live off of it's on resources.  There wouldn't be all of this unemployment and homeless people in this country.   From a fed up veteran who like all the rest did not put or lives on the line only to come back home or be serving state side seeing or follow veterans and or nations personal living like this.  Shame on all of you in the White House and the Senate and Congress .Know wonder there are a lot of civilians leaving or country and never returning. If only you folks in Washington would learn to work together like you made. all of us do when we were in basic training. We all had to have attitude adjustments maybe for all of you folks in Washington that might be just what the doctor ordered.  Stop the backstabbing and learn how to work together. Now wouldn't that be something to see on CNN or Fox Network or CNBC.

What has kept agreements from being reached on tax policies, spending cuts, debt reduction and how to fund Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security? Democrats and Republicans can't find common ground. Partisanship of the kind now practiced — with levels of gridlock unseen in Congress since before the Civil War — is having its deepest impact on the American economy. Allegiance to one particular political party trumps any positive outcomes in favor of working in a bi-partisan manner and really enacting positive changes. "If we don't learn from our own mistakes, we're doomed to repeat them". And, that's how it is and always was and always will be.
