In a detailed explaintion. What is the 4 hour workweek about?

I wanna know if I should pick up this book and give it a read. I would like to hear some insights on what it's about from real people who applied with success what is written in the book. Not just someone endorsing the book.

By the way. I'm currently unemployed and literally broke. I was wondering if this book is even for me to read and can help me propel myself out of my situation. If not what are some good books that are tailored to my situation and can help me to get out of it?

Jay, is it possible you are talking about the 4 day per week work schedule? I mean, there is no program in proposal or actual work design that allows a 4 hr a week schedule and still count as "employed ". In our current societal structure we base a full time job, hopefully with benefits, on a 5 days a week schedule at 8 hours each. That gives us 40 hours a week that we are recompensed for. In the 4 day/week model, we add 2 hours per work day, which still gives us a 40 hour income per week with a minimal extra daily effort, but we get a whole extra day off.

    Understand?

Good luck. Seems you need it.
