1: Link (Legend of Zelda); for he is a badass.

2: CL4P-TP A.K.A Claptrap (Borderlands); He is f-ing hilarious.

3. Peppy Hare (Star Fox 64); DO A BARREL ROLL!

4: Master Chief (Halo); He's a badass too.

5: Alisa (Tekken 6); She's hot and also some kind of cyborg fiend from Hell that can rip any fighter to shreds.

I absolutely love Ezio Auditore from Assassin's Creed.

I also have a thing for Johnny Gat from Saints Row. I don't know why.

There's also Alex Mason (Black Ops 1), Teresa (Fable), Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal), and Serana (Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim).
