How can purists laugh at Manny & Money for fighting an old Mosley?

It's not as much about the competition as it is the money.

If fighters were all about the competition ,the young undefeated names that annihilate their competition but don't have big name would get title shots more often that they do.

I laugh at Pacquiao fighting Mosley because he fought Mosley after he had lost to Mayweather, scored a draw against Sergio Mora, and there were talks of him retiring. However, he did not fight Mosley when he was fresh off his annihilation of Antonio Margarito and became the #1 Welterweight.

Floyd Mayweather fought Mosley when Pacquiao did not and when everyone was saying he was scared of him, when the world wanted that fight, when Mosley was the man to beat at Welterweight and was rated #3 Pound for Pound.
