Unfortunately, as a non-European citizen you are not allowed to live and work in Italy. There are only two visas available to you:
a Long-Stay Visa, and to get this you must prove that you have sufficient money to support yourself because you will not be allowed to work;
and, a Work Visa, but you cannot apply directly for this visa, you must first apply for a job before leaving home, however to give you the job the employer must prove there are no Italian or EU citizens available to fill that position. However, there is currently no shortage of qualified European art teachers. You might want to check out the American and International schools in Italy, but these schools do tend to take only highly qualified teachers.

Ah bless.
Not going to happen, mate. See, Italy already has PLENTY of qualified art teachers, they don't need any from outside of the EU.

If you are a qualified teacher, you could go as part of a school exchange program on a temporary basis.
