Why are City 6 points off the title and out of Europe already?
If I was the Sheik I'd be asking serious questions. The team as a whole seem to have regressed despite the squad strengthening during the summer and meanwhile performances in Europe have got no better. What's wrong with them?

They can buy players, but can't buy class.
To be fair, this year they had quite a hard group stage.

Being Champions is hard work with everyteam wanting to beat you, With United being 7 points infront of us it is hard with us not scoring as much as last season and our players not playing at there best just playing lazy. This season we have lost our home record, Been 4th in our group.
Our signings just made our team get worse or stay the same with Adam Johnson leaving for Rodwell and Sinclair, It is just a similar player so these 3 transfer moves were pointless and Roberto Mancinis decision caused us to be defeated 1-0 to Sunderland at the Stadium of Light thanks to Adam Johnsons Winner.
We need to make some fantastic transfers in January, maybe signing Falcao and getting rid of Roberto Mancini, Personally I would love RDM Or Pep Guardiola to take charge of city rather than managers such as Jose Mourinho.

the answer is simple, too many ego's. the team is full of egotistical players and thats why they are 7 points behind.

Its tough at the top... but, anyone can do it for one or two seasons.
Just ask Wenger or Mourhino
