Computer loses connection to my wireless network when i update my video card driver, but works in safe mode?

So i recently decided to update my video card driver, but after i do so i loose connection with my wireless network. Other devices i have are able to connect so i know it has nothing to do with the wireless router. Now when i start in safe-mode the computer is able to connect to the network and internet without a problem even with the recently updated driver still intact. Now when i uninstalled the driver and re-installed the factor given CD driver(I built this computer), the computer is able to connect to the network like it did before. Considering i'm using a wireless adapter on this computer, what would make my computer loose connection? Its still able to detect the network while the newer driver is installed, just unable to connect.

Update:

I did not change the graphics card, just the driver, and I just updated the power supply to 650 watts a a week ago so that can't be the problem considering I .was running on 550 before just fine. I'm running an AMD Radeon hd 6800 series with a ASUS pce-n15 11n wireless lan PCI-e card

Safe mode loads minimal drivers, so the new video driver is not being used. It looks like a driver conflict issue. Weird, but there it is. Do you need the new driver? You could just do without. You could also try updating the driver for the wireless adapter to see if that prevents the conflict (update from manufacturers website, not Windows built in utility). Also, I know a guy who recommends a complicated graphics card driver update method. It goes something like this: Uninstall the old driver in Device Manager. Delete the old driver files. Run CCleaner's registry cleaner. Restart. Disable anti-virus. Install new graphics drivers. Restart. Enable anti-virus if the restart did not enable it again automatically.

It's either an incompatibility between your WiFi network adapter and your new video card or your power supply in your computer is not able to handle the extra load of your new video card.

Since you provided no information about either the WiFi network adapter or the video card, that's where this answer will end.

Next time provide specifics with model numbers and manufacture names for the computer, the WiFi network adapter, and the video card.
