    Multiply 996 by 0.10

    Subtract that number from 996.

    You can also multiply 996 by 0.90 For 15%, multilply by 0.85, 20% multiply by 0.80, etc.

    To find 10 percent you just move the decimal one time to the left So 996 would become 99.6 So $99.60 would be 10 percent of the $996. Then you just subtract 99.60 from 996 = $896.40

    $996 * 10% = $996 * 0.10 = $99.60, this is the amount of the discount, so subtract it from the order

    $996 - $99.60 = $896.40

    Well take 10%

    which = 10.00

    Take $996.00

    996.00

    Move the decimal point left 2 spaces

    and x100
