Do the Jets plan on firing Rex Ryan next year?
I'm sure Rex Ryan is not 100% to blame as their is hardly any talent in the Jets players (esp. offense) and he does not make ALL of the decisions but their has been no talk about firing him. We hear about Norv Turner and Reid but out of the past 4 years Sanchez and Ryan have only had 1 good year.

I bet they'll give him another year to turn the team around. A lot of the troubles with the Jets come from the fact that they do not have many good football players, so Ryan isn't to blame.... yet.
However, his decisions to bench Sanchez for the 3rd-string QB as opposed to just playing Tim Tebow are downright based on his personal dislike for the guy. If you would rather play some 3rd-string guy in junk time instead of your Heisman winner, you're an ***.

No, Rex will not be fired and he definitely shouldn't be fired. Despite having the two best player on both offense and defense injured Rex has managed to win a couple games. Rex's defense is the reason why the Jets are at 6-9 right now and not 3-12. Oh and Rex/Sanchez had two good years (AFC championship appearances should be considered good years).

Mike Westhoff is the special teams coordinator. I do agree that Rex has a lot to learn about being an all around head coach, but if this isn't an overreaction I don't know what is. The Jets are still 5-2 and have tiebreakers over all their divisional rivals. Barring a total meltdown this team is easily good for at least another 5 wins. This game was sloppy and pathetic, but they're not going to go undefeated. It happens.

Short answer:
Yes.
Elaborated answer:
A) Rex Ryan loves creating adolescent hyperbole when it is NOT needed. He loves to push people's buttons and worst yet, at his stage in his career has become associated with a deplorable stigma: making pi$$-poor coaching decisions.
B) He will be fired, but I doubt a lot of teams will frantically call him.
C) Think about it: you as a General Manager/Owner in the NFL, want a coach known RECENTLY for making good decisions and having had RECENT success = none of these things have graced Rex's
life recently! These aforementioned have short memories and make executive decisions based on MONEY. {Viewed another way: why hire a loser?}
D) I see Ryan going to the Chiefs or the Raiders......at best.

No, but how well the team does could change that. I am hearing that Tannenbaum may be the one on the way out, and that's a good move.

Yes, and about 15 or so teams will inquire for his services. The Panthers will contact him a millisecond after he is fired.
