How Can I delete Unauthorized Content from Wii?
Basically I installed Homebrew onto my Wii a few months back and I can't perform a system update on my Wii because of it. Now I knew this before, but now I want to know how can I delete all the/ unauthorized content. When ever I perform the System Update it gets cut off half way from a message saying "detected unauthorized". I just need help without deleting my gamedata from past Wii Games.

The only thing that was released for the Wii in the last couple of months was the new shop channel.

Even when starting an update on an Official Wii you get the warning screen saying if you have unauthorized stuff the update can brick your Wii. If you did a proper mod and installed Preloader/Priiloader you get a connection error 32002, 32004, or 32007.
Nintendo probably won't release any more updates for the Wii now that the Wii U is out.
It would be easier to use ModMii, http://modmii.zzl.org/ , to update your Wii. Be sure to install Priiloader so the system won't even ask to update anymore.
Assuming you are on 4.3 and have HBC already installed:
If you tell ModMii your current system is 4.2, it will include the System Menu wad in the files it collects along with all the game IOS wads and any channels you want. Just start the guide from the point where HBC is already installed and you install wads. Once those files are installed your Wii would be able to survive an official update. You would need to delete any forwarder channels and the HBC but that can be done in the data management menu in Wii settings. This will get you back to almost official, but only Nintendo and a handful of Wii hackers would be able to tell without rehacking the system. Only way to remove ALL traces is ohneschwanzenegger from giantpune but that would also erase gamedata.
I like ModMii because it gets the Nintendo file directly from the Nintendo update server and checks them for corruption after the download, redownloading when necessary.
