Why do people hate adventure time?

I have also asked myself this. I LOVE ADVENTURE TIME :D!!!! But some people just think it is very annoying, and lots of people dont like cartoons, either. And also people think it is twisted/scary. You know, the litch, that one snail that turned all weird. But any way, just know that I FREAKING LOVE ADVENTURE TIME!!! :) :D #Finn and Jake 4ever

look, i LOVE the show, but if i were to say this objectively i d say it was because of the lack of plot and character arcs.

granted, the show WAS meant to be episodic and the continuity was mostly a sort of an in-joke for the staff and long-time fans.

the character development mostly came from Rebecca Sugar when she was still on the crew, and the angst we ve all come to be familliar with was because Pen Ward liked sad things.

also, pre-season 4 finn was, admittedly, annoying. with his ludicrous facial expressions and Jeremy Shada s record-scratch-y voice i can understand why first time viewers would be put off. also its colours were crazy bright and kinda hard on the eyes and the art style is weird

the points mentioned above are everything i love about the show, btw. after learning animation and learning how hard it was i respected this shows weird-*** style that much more!

some people are just gonna dislike the things that make this show great, and we cant change that. its best ti remember that entertainment is subjective

Personally, i still dont know what to think yet about adventure time. I watch phineas and ferb, before, i thought it was just a lame children's show but turns out, it isnt a just a children's show, but the humor is overflowing.

I think, the animation is the thing, since the characters were made using smooth edges, and primary colors, it becomes a rant-magnet show.

It isnt as great to look at, at first. Maybe, deeper, it's bearable.. Nope, absolutely watchable.

I can watch a few episodes occasionally, but Finn gets really annoying after so long. I prefer Regular Show myself. Adventure Time is a bit childish.

I've noticed that the teenagers and adults who like it also tend to like esoteric things (the people I know who like it are all art majors- not ALL art majors like things like Adventure Time and anime, but theres definitely a noticeable amount)so I think that's the reason why there's a bunch people who don't see eye to eye

each and all the episodes from journey time are exceedingly stupid to me..i cant comprehend the way somebody could desire to no longer locate it disgusting. I distinctly doubt you realize each and every comedian tale in even purely a million episode of relatives guy, confident there is amazingly idiotic jokes yet there is likewise many many references which require know-how of cutting-edge and previous activities.

I love it! I'm also 18 and get some of the more mature jokes they throw in there. I wouldn't let my children watch it (don't have any, just saying if I did) because it isn't the most child friendly show. I'm a huge fan
