Can i add things to my protein shake?

hi! so, short story, 2 years ago, i was suffering major daily panic attacks due to so much stress. i was also 5'10 255lbs. anyway, i chose to go to the gym rather than take anti depressants for several reasons not important here. while i was going to the gym, i was drinking a protein shake immediately after my workouts. it consisted of 25 grams of whey protein, 2 cups of milk, and probiotics. after a year, i went from 255lbs to 210lbs. later in the year, i started to incorporate 25 grams of casein protein and 2 cups of milk before i went to sleep. that's where i saw more weight loss. anyway, after the year was over, i suffered some financial hardships and whatnot, and couldn't afford a gym membership for close to a year. and well, i gained my 45lbs back. now i'm back in the gym, and i have my fun ingredients back.

my new idea now is to add some essential vitamins and minerals into my shake since i am so focused on drinking it daily. i work out 5 days a week, and drink 15 shakes a week. 5 of them are a BCAA drink with 2 cups of water that i drink during my workout. another 5 is 20 grams of whey protein 2 cups of whole milk, and 1 teaspoon of probiotics that i drink immediately after my workout. and finally, before bed, 5 is 24 grams of casein protein and 2 cups of whole milk.

now, i want to add calcium, magnesium and vitamin d to my whey protein shake. the whey protein already has 75mg calcium and 15mg magnesium. mind you, i dont want to put too much in there, because i do have a diet where bananas and spinach and so on is common. i just want to make sure that i have a decent amount of my daily requirements in the key moment of muscle recovery.

also noted; my body goal is open ended. i dont want to be a body builder, and i dont want to be skinny. i do want my muscles to grow, and i also want calories to burn. so, yea. what do we got yahoo people?

** You should try drinking 8 to 16 ounces of water before each meal, this will fill you up and you will eat less, resulting in less calories at every meal. Weight loss pills are not very safe, at least water is safe. I know it may be hard at first to drink water, but you can add more and more everyday until it becomes easier, ( you will get used to it. I lost 50 pounds in three years and kept them off , I also walk for 30 minutes at least 5 times a week. Patience is needed,, if you want quick, this is not it, better to lose slowly than too fast (not healthy for your body) Well good luck too you, hope this helps.

P.S. I also think that the younger you are the faster you will lose weight, 50 years and up will take longer

That you would be able to generally add something to whey protein. A different excellent thing to understand is what form of whey protein you've...Isolates vs casein. Isolates will filter out of procedure approach rapid than casein protein. I would take casein within the morning or reason it will last in my physique for the entire day. I'd take isolate protein half-hour before and within 30-60 minutes submit workout to aid my body get well rapid.
