I would like to introduce my german shepherd puppy :D?

The black dog in my profile picture is my German Shepherd puppy. She is 8 weeks old, & she has a German Shepherd attitude! She is very stubborn, she tries to do things her way but only to find out my way is better. She is such a "diva"! Her name is Midnight (I know it sounds like a males name) but the name fits her. She is just starting to accept a leash & now I'm working on the command sit. She literally hates going down steps. She litterally refuses to go near a mud puddle! She LOVES treats. She is also very loyal. One day my steps were ice & I slipped and fell down all of them. She immediately ran over to me & checked on me! She is a little difficult to deal with at times but I must say I am in love! I treat her like she is my kid & I wouldnt have it any other way! I am actually getting ready to buy a heater to put in a dog house because she loves being outside & it is really difficult to get her to come in the house so I am going to buy a giant dog house & put a heater in there for her :D

Update:

My question is what are some really cool "tricks" I could teach her

That`s nice you love your puppy so much.

At 8 weeks old I would not teach her "tricks". And also treat her like a dog...as she is NOT a human kid.

Concentrate on teaching her proper basic exercises like her name, re-call, sit, wait, leave, down, the lead walking etc.

But her concentration span will be very short at this age and only train her for 2-3 minutes at any one time.

I also think you should encourage her to be inside your house at this age as at 8 weeks old she really should not be left outside especially at night. And of course if she is inside she will need to be trained to pee and poop outside.
