How can I get blonde hair?

Hair journey:

Okay, so about a month ago, I tried to dye my hair blonde. It turned out completely orange, so the next day i used a SEMI-permament dark brown dye, because I thought it would be less damaging then to bleach it again blonde. I mean, my hair was so dry and I didn't want it to fall out. I used a semi-permanent, so it would be a glaze on top of my hair, and not actually go into the hair. It's been about a month from then. The hair dye is supposed to last through 26 shampoos, but i only wash my hair twice a week, because my hair is naturally very dry and curly, so washing it more often would be a pain. Anyways, the dye has barely faded, i mean the tiniest bit.... it's just more obviously blotchy now. I still haven't given up on having blonde hair, because I didn't get it the first time. So I gave my hair time to heal and now I feel like i can try to go blonde again.

Questions:

What products do i need?

Can I do it all in one night? It needs to be completely done by new years because I'm going to a party.

Can't you just bleach it? I've used peroxide in my hair before. You just put hydrogen peroxide in all of your hair you want lighter, then you leave it in for like 45 mins, just like watch tv or something, and blow drying it speeds it up too. you can do it repeatedly until its as light as you want.

    Source(s): done it.

To get the brown out of your hair mix the following together and leave it on for 1 hour, it will not damage so you can do it 2-3 times:

    Vitamin C (Use a packet, it's cheaper)

Shampoo (Head and shoulders works best, but any kind will do.)

    Olive Oil

and a LITTLE TINY bit of Hydrogen peroxide (It will damage your hair if you aren't careful, just add as much of everything as you need)

This will take you back to the bleached orange, or it should.

Then, use a toner, if needed bleach the roots.

I have used the color stripper I mentioned and it worked wonders, I am about to use it again to go red. Since that is permanent hair dye it may take longer, you might do it over the next few nights.

Or just go to a hair dresser and see what they can do for you!

    I hope everything goes well!

Honestly, if you want blonde you hair you need to bleach it. I strongly suggest that you go to a salon. But if you don't want to then whatever. Buy a bleach kit and a toner (you can get these things from sally s beauty supply). You should do a little online researching about bleaching your hair. If you don't already have a deep conditioner get one. You may benefit more from oiling your hair though. Yes you can do it all in one night but it might turn out looking terrible. That's why you should go to a salon.

so if you want you hair to be blonde you bleach it.....if it splotchy than you probaly going to have to start fresh and do it all over again.yes this is going to sound stupid but ask a local hairdresser for any ideas to get all the brown dye out and restart with good hair bleach.

If you're aiming for a platinum blonde, try Manic Panic Flashlightning, you can get it at Hot Topic. Or check out the vids below.

Oh, and since you're hair is curly and dry, I would recommend you wait a day after bleaching it and then use Bedhead Moisture Maniac, Aussie Hair Insurance, or Herbal Essences Hello Hydration shampoo and conditioner, taking care to rinse until you don't see any bubbles in your hair. Organix Coconut Milk leave in conditioner works wonders for dry hair too, it will make your hair softer and shinier, and it smells so yummy!
